Hello, I'm Jasminka. I've spent over 15 years working in dementia care facilities, and I built this community together with my son because the people who taught me the most were never doctors — they were family caregivers comparing notes in hallways.

A few things about this place: everything here is written by real people under real names (or anonymously, if you prefer — but never fabricated). Nobody here will diagnose your loved one over the internet, and nobody should. What we can do is share what actually happened in our homes and on our shifts, and what helped.
